New Zealand Adventures

At the beginning of February I travelled to New Zealand. In the afternoon I got a taxi to the airport with mum and dad. We looked in the shops and then got on the plane. It was a long time on the aeroplane! I didn’t like the food. When we arrived we hired a car and went to the house we were staying at. The house had an olden days feel. We had a walk around the town. That was Tuesday morning.

We visited the botanic gardens which was free. We went on a whale watching boat trip. The whale was called ‘Holey Moley’! We went to the beach. We went to my cousin’s house and saw her dog, her goats and her art work.

We went on a trip in a campervan with my brother and his girlfriend. The ladder to the upstairs bed was broken! We went swimming in a beautiful lake. It was very cold! We went to a vineyard where they make wine. I didn’t drink any wine. We drove through lovely mountains. We went to the beach and swam in the sea. We learnt about the history of New Zealand. We went to see some lights in a forest.

On my birthday I had lots of presents and cards. I got some earrings. I went to the beach. My uncle made a Mexican dinner.

On the last day we went to an art market. Then we went to the airport. We flew to India and then came back to England. It was cold when we got back because I was wearing shorts!
