Battle of Hastings

History Lessons at CAMTRUST

 

My blog! Today I  was learning about the Battle of Hastings. I worked on the computer and typed up a word document on the battle, researching information and photographs online.

Working in the workshop

 

I Was working with Clive in Camtust  workshop  to make a Christmas tree stand. I used a drill, saw and hammer to put the pieces of wood together. I worked with Clive to put the screws and bolts in so it didnt fall apart.

Road safety week on bicycles

Before you set off on your bike make sure you check you have lights and a reflective jacket if you’re cycling in the dark. Always wear a helmet. Before you set off check your bike tyre pressure and brakes.

When cycling make sure you follow the highway code.

Making Crumble at Camtrust

Today I helped Claire to make Rhubarb Crumble. I measured the flour, butter and sugar into a bowl  and rubbed it with my fingers to make the crumble tipped crumble onto the cooked rhubarb then put it into oven.

Wednesday art 

I mostly like doing art because I get to use my original creations of characters and favourite animal the Fox as my art.
Camtrust let me paint a big picture of a fox and screw it onto the wall outside.
For the Olympics we made stick people, at first I didn’t feel like doing it but I thought I can make one of my original creations Rowan the Ronin as a stick person and I did. Camtrust liked my stick man and he got to stand on the first place in the Olympics display.
I have achieved my art goals and learnt new skills by doing them in my original creation characters and fox style.
